Colour in all its different qualities and nuances, liquid, opaque, transparent is my favourate material. The pictures are the result of a long process, it is like a dialogue between the picture and me. In this dialogue the surface of the painting is more and more opening to a deep virtual space.

The opposite situation is to be found in the cut-outs and collages: I cut different forms out of cardboard, untill there are only the frames of the cut-out forms left. Sometimes collages of white paper make even parts of the remaining frames disappear. So the theme of the cut-outs is the space between and behind the things.
